CENIBRA Announces New Executive Management to Take Over in April 5v1k2n

Engineer Júlio Ribeiro will be CENIBRA’s new Chief Executive Officer in replacement for Takashi Nakajima, who will take over as the Company’s Corporate President. Shingo Matsukura will be the new Chief istrative and Financial Officer and Leandro Dalvi the new Technical, Industrial, and Forestry Director. Jun Yoshino remains as Chief Commercial Officer. The new executive management composition will take over as of April 1, 2025.

They are in-company talents from either CENIBRA or its shareholder, Oji Holdings. Júlio Ribeiro and Leandro Dalvi are the first two Brazilian senior executives whose careers have been consolidated at the company. These moves have also led to promotions at other organization levels.

The new CEO, Júlio Ribeiro, began his career at the company as a trainee engineer and worked in several departments and positions before becoming CEO. “Taking over as CENIBRA CEO is a great honor. I will direct all my strength and energy to make sure the company remains strong, sustainable, and committed to everyone’s safety,” Júlio Ribeiro said.

CENIBRA has drawn up its 2024-2033 strategic plan, called BioSustentação, to reach a more balanced future that is conducive to development. It brings together the company’s short-, medium-, and long-term commitments in the environmental, social, governance, economic, and innovation fields. CENIBRA’s accomplishments will also be its employees’ legacy.

Composition of CENIBRA’s new Executive Management

Takashi Nakajima – Corporate President

Graduated in Economics from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan. He held several positions at OJI PAPER CO., LTD. and OJI MANAGEMENT OFFICE INC. during his career, including managerial and top management positions in the corporate planning and istration departments. He took over as CENIBRA’s Chief Executive Officer in 2023, and as of April 1, 2025, he will assume the position of Corporate President.

 

 

 

 

Júlio Ribeiro – Chief Executive Officer

Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UFMG, an MBA in Management for Executives from USP, and a Master’s degree in Pulp and Paper Technology from UFV, Ribeiro began his career at CENIBRA in 1993 as a trainee engineer. He worked as Maintenance Supervisor (1996), coordinator in the Recovery and Utilities Department (2000), and Maintenance and Engineering Department Manager (2010). He assumed the position of Technical, Industrial, and Forestry Director in 2018 and Vice-President in April 2024. As of April 1, 2025, he will hold the position of Chief Executive Officer.

 

 

 

Jun Yoshino – Commercial Director

Yoshino began his career at Oji Paper Co. Ltd. in April 1997 and started working in the Material Resources Department at the Nichinan Mill in March 1998. In March 2000, he took up a position in the istration and ing Department of the same plant and, in February 2003, he ed the International Affairs Department and the Asia Research Center, both linked to the Corporate Planning Division at the company’s headquarters. He took over the positions of Advisor to CENIBRA’s CEO and Coordinator of the Corporate Planning and istration Department at OJI GREEN RESOURCES CO., LTD in July 2009 and August 2016, respectively. Yoshino has held the position of CENIBRA’s Commercial Director since August 2021.

 

 

Leandro Dalvi – Technical, Industrial, and Forestry Director

Dalvi has a solid track record at CENIBRA, where he started working in 2001. With extensive experience in managing industrial and environmental processes, he has held the position of Manufacturing Department Manager since 2016, being responsible for the operational management of fiber production lines, recovery, utilities, and monitoring laboratories, research, industrial development, and customer technical service. As of April 1, 2025, he takes over as Technical, Industrial, and Forestry Director.

 

 

 

 

Shingo Matsukura – istrative and Financial Director

Graduated in Political Science and Economics, Matsukura has consolidated his career in the OJI Group. He began at OJI PAPER CO., LTD. in 1999, working in several factories’ istrative department. Over the years, he held supervisory and coordination positions at OJI MANAGEMENT OFFICE INC. and OJI GREEN RESOURCES CO., LTD., building up extensive experience in corporate istration and planning. At CENIBRA, he has served as Advisor to the CEO since 2022. He assumes the position of istrative and Financial Director as of April 2025.
