Celulose Nipo-Brasileira S.A. (CENIBRA) announces changes to its organizational structure with the aim of strengthening management and boosting the Company’s sustainable growth. Approved at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Stockholders held on April 1, 2024, the changes came into force immediately.
The main change is the creation of a Vice-President Position to be held by Júlio César Tôrres Ribeiro, who now combines this new role with his position as Technical, Industrial and Forestry Director. The new Vice-President will assist the Chief Executive Officer in his duties and replace him in case of absence or need.
By adopting a new organizational structure, CENIBRA seeks to optimize decision-making and further value the Company’s leadership. “The creation of the Vice-President position will enhance agility and assertiveness in strategic decision-making, favoring process optimization and maximizing operational efficiency,” said Júlio Ribeiro, the new Vice-President.
Career at CENIBRA
Júlio Ribeiro began his career at CENIBRA as a trainee engineer in 1993 and became Mechanical Maintenance supervisor in 1996, Recovery and Utilities coordinator in 2000, and manager of the Maintenance and Engineering Department in 2010. In 2018, he took over the role of Technical, Industrial and Forestry Director.
