Strengthening and fostering a closer relationship with communities. This is one of the goals of CENIBRA Institute’s Action and Citizenship Project. Carried out in partnership with municipal istrations, it reaffirms CENIBRA’s commitment to contributing to social development and people’s quality of life.
The Project consists of an interactive afternoon, during which students from municipal schools and their parents are given information on health, education, and environmental preservation, and have access to a series of cultural and recreational activities. Participation is free for everyone.
The event also includes well-being and health services, such as haircuts, nutritional and dental guidance, blood sugar and pressure checks, and psychological assistance. Participants can also enjoy cultural presentations, educational circuits, and environmental education workshops.
Edson Valgas, Executive Director of the Institute, points out that the Action and Citizenship program aims at providing all participants with a welcoming and learning environment. “We believe such initiatives are essential to strengthen our relationship with the community and promote everyone’s well-being,” he adds.
All actions are worked out in conjunction with the municipal istrations and professionals from local Health and Education Departments. Four activities were carried out during June. events will be held in the municipalities of Peçanha, Coluna, and Coronel Fabriciano, all in the state of Minas Gerais.

- Peçanha:Pedrosos School, June 25, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM;
- Coluna:In front of the Itimirim Church, June 26, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM;
- Coronel Fabriciano:São José dos Cocais community, June 28, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
