SUSTAINABILITY

CENIBRA understands sustainability is reached when a business generates value to its stakeholders. With this in mind, the company incorporates environmental, social, governance, and economic aspects into its business strategies.

FOREST STEWARDSHIP PLAN

Stewardship and monitoring of CENIBRA forests are focused on productivity, environmental protection, and employee safety, contributing to harmonious coexistence of native forests, wildlife, eucalyptus plantations, and communities, while ensuring collective well-being.

Located in the Atlantic Forest domain, the Company adopts the mosaic-shaped landscape stewardship and wildlife corridors that interconnect fragments of native forest and allow the genetic flow of species, reconciling biodiversity conservation and economic development in the region in which it operates. These strategies are validated through environmental monitoring of fauna, flora, and water resources, which is carried out from time to time.

The overall objective of the Forest Stewardship Plan is showing our stakeholders how CENIBRA defines actions to ensure both the current and future production capability founded on the following assumptions: growth with profitability while being environmentally compliant and socially fair, technological development, organizational modernization, and quality improvement.

CENIBRA’s land totals approximately 254,000 hectares, allocated as follows:
247,809.03

102,320.58

hectares Legal Reserves, Permanent Preservation areas, and native vegetation

128,666.76
